Urban Ersha are a 5-piece covers band from Wellington and Kāpiti with over 30 combined years of experience in the music industry.

As previous regional Battle of the Bands Winners and National Finalists, we pride ourselves on our high level of musicianship playing a wide variety of tunes, from your familiar cover band fare to more off the wall mash ups and medleys to push away from the ‘typical’ covers band experience and keep you wanting more. We have a unique sound that you have to experience to believe.

We really enjoy playing Weddings and will work closely with you to ensure that your big day goes off without a hitch.

We play a wide repertoire of material - from classic party songs to more ‘off the wall’ mash-ups and medleys that will keep the audience on their toes all night! We take great pride in ensuring that the end of your big day will be talked about by you and your guests for years to come.

We will tailor a wedding package to meet your specific requirements.

Planning a 21st Birthday, Wedding Anniversary, Family Reunion, or any other kind of celebration?

No matter the event, Urban Ersha are your best choice for a fun filled evening of entertainment for you and your guests. We play a wide variety of songs to suit any audience and will work closely with you to ensure that everything goes to plan and create an event that you will not forget! 

Need a specific song to be played? Or acoustic background music during dinner? We will put together a package to suit your needs.

Standard Packages include:

  • 3 hour full band performance

  • Full professional PA and lighting

  • DJ music provided during band breaks

  • Wireless Microphones for speeches (if required)

Additional Extras (negotiable):

  • Longer band performance

  • First dance or special song request

  • ‘Unplugged’ after-ceremony/cocktail hour performance

  • Travel outside of the greater Wellington region
